HENDERSON - Sharon Lea Weatherington Davis, 56, of East Holly Lane, died Tuesday, March 02, 2021 at Duke University Medical Center.Born in Greenville, SC on May 6, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Richard Weatherington and Sue Brannock Faulkner of Henderson.Sharon was a sales associate with Belk for over 27 years and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
A private memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Alan Scott Davis of the home; two sisters, Lynn Bullock and husband, Eddie and Nancy Hughes, all of Henderson; four nieces, Brittany Fleischhauer, Brandie Powell, Erica Porter and Holly Hughes; a nephew, Brian Bullock; and her beloved cat, Shelby.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 114 Church Street, Henderson, NC27536.
The family would like to give special thanks to the members of the 8 West ICU department of Duke Medical Pavilion for the care they gave to Sharon during her time spent there.
