Shelton Ray Wilson

BULLOCK -Shelton Ray Wilson, 63, a resident of Tungsten Mine Road, died Friday, February 14, 2025 at his home. Born on September 29, 1961 in Franklin County, he was the son of the late Joseph Douglas Wilson and Mary Ann Tant Wilson. Shelton was the owner and operator of Wilson’s English Bull Dogs, and was a member of Tungsten Baptist Church. Graveside funeral services will be Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Murray Family Cemetery in the Schloss Community of Franklin County by the Rev. Joe Don Cooper. Shelton is survived by his wife, Ann Pernell Wilson of the home; one son, Shelton Ray Rowan of Pennsylvania; one step-son, Duane Pernell of Schloss; one granddaughter, Alana; one sister, Mary “Buttons” Herrera (Jose) of Coats; three brothers, Joe Wilson (Patricia) of Henderson, Curtis Tant (Barbara) of Wake Forest, and Andy Riggan (Robin) of Carolina Beach; and his step-father, Earl Riggan of Kittrell. The family will receive friends following the service at the Murray Family Cemetery.
