Sherby Pendergrass Guill

SHERBY P. GUILL
OXFORD-Sherby Pendergrass Guill, age 70, a resident of 5656 Hicksboro Road, died Friday, July 23, 2010, at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.Born on April 20, 1940 in Warren County, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Eugene Pendergrass and Mary Elizabeth Dickerson Pendergrass.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 AM in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev.Wayne Clark and the Rev. Randy Pittman.Burial will follow in the Guill-Overby Family Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Crystal Dawn Gill of the home, and finance Jason Pittman; one son, James Thomas Guill, Jr. and wife, Kelly, of Oxford; four sisters, Ann P. Overton, Betty P. Reid, Linda P. Pace, and Patricia P. Holland all of Henderson; two brothers, Dwight Pendergrass and Kenneth Pendergrass both of Henderson; and two grandchildren, Carmyn P. Guill and Matthew D. Guill.She was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas "Butterbean" Guill, Sr.
The family will receive friends Sunday night from 7:00 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home at 5656 Hicksboro Road.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Butch Edwards, William Wilkerson, Andy Parrish, David Pace, Chad Blake and Donnie Squires.
