Shirley Dennison Duke

OXFORD- Shirley Marie Dennison Duke, 65, formerly of Quail Ridge in Henderson, died Monday, May 30, 2022 at Universal Health Care. Born April 26, 1957 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Montgomery Dennison and Allie Mae Reaves Dennison. She was retired from the Vance County ABC Board where she worked as chief financial officer and office manager. She was a member of North Henderson Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home. She is survived by a daughter, Terri Duke of Raleigh; a sister, Brenda Stilley and husband Ricky of Carrollton, GA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mona Kittrell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration, (www.theaftd.org). The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
