HENDERSON- Shirley Frances Ellington Wilson, 82, of Fernwood Court, died Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Maria Parham Health.Born in Vance County on September 17, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Helen Thompson Ellington and Alvin Gay Ellington, Sr.Shirley was a bookkeeper, having worked for Holden, Moss, Knott, Clark, Copley and Hoyle CPA Firm, the Vance County Finance Office and Dabney Drive Animal Hospital.
A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, November, 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM by Rev. Will Breedlove at Elmwood Cemetery.
She is survived by two nephews, Steve Ellington and Dean Ellington; and a niece, Laverne Jeffries all of Henderson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Bobby Barnette and Raymond H. "Red" Wilson.
