Stephen Robert Karol

LOUISBURG- Stephen Robert Karol, 81, died Monday, March 16, 2026 at Franklin Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born October 25, 1944 in Cumberland County, NJ, he was the son of the late Stella Warzbok Karol and Theodore “Fudgy” Karol and was the widower of Nancy Morrison Karol. In 1962, at the age of 18, he began working for Owens-Illinois where he remained employed until 1986. He retired from Revlon where he was a machine operator.

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 27, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Johnny Yount.

Mr. Karol is survived by a daughter, Terri K. Carroll (Jerry); a son, Stephen Theodore Karol (Paula); four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Patricia Osterling, Joan Surace and Linda Karol; and his special friends and neighbors, Herminio Gervacio, Lourdes Hernandez, Perla Lopez, Alexa Gervacio and Isabella Gervacio.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Karol.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on March 27th, beginning at 1:00 P.M. at J.M. White Funeral Home.
