OXFORD- Steven Leonard Haislip, Sr., 51, a resident of 9634 Reuben Hart Rd., died Saturday April 16, 2016.Born in Chester PA on May 6, 1964, he was the son of the late Thomas Allen Haislip and Shirley Lucas Haislip.
Steven was employed by Morrisons Food Service and worked in the cafeteria at Granville Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 pm in the chapel of J. M. White Funeral Home by the Rev. Gary Bateman. A private interment will be held by the family.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Dalton Haislip of the home; three sons, Justin Haislip and Ryan Haislip both of Norlina, and Steven L. Haislip, Jr. of Oxford;two step daughters, Amy Addabbo of Winston-Salem and Stacy Inscoe of Henderson; one sister, Debbie Causby of Claremont; one brother, Carl Haislip of Rocky Mount; and one granddaughter, Reyna Haislip.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Haislip; one grandson, Enosyent Haislip.
The family will receive friends Thursday prior to the service from 12:30 until 2 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.
