HENDERSON-Sue Weatherington Faulkner, 89, of Dabney Woods Lane, died Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Duke Medical Center. Born January 28, 1936, in Sumter, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Margie Dollard Brannock and Carl Lee Brannock. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and a member of the Red Hat Society. Sue loved to quilt and enjoyed giving her quilts to family and friends. She formerly worked at Maria Parham Hospital as a LPN in the cardiovascular lab. A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 3:00 PM at First United Methodist Church by Rev. George Loveland. Sue is survived by two daughters, Lynn W. Bullock (Eddie), and Nancy W. Hughes, both of Henderson; four grandchildren, Brittany Fleischhauer (David), Brian Bullock, Erica Porter (Mark), and Holly Hughes (Austin); four great-grandchildren, Emma Fleischhauer, Savannah Fleischhauer, Allie Porter and Parker Porter; and her special friends, Betty Bobbitt, Jerri Dickerson, Sharon Kittrell, Jannice Perry and Doug Puckett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Weatherington; a daughter, Sharon Davis; her brother, Jimmy Brannock; and her son-in-law, Earl Hughes. The family will receive friends following the service in the garden of the First United Methodist Church on Sunday, March 30, 2025, weather permitting.
