PINEHURST-Sue Dunn Robertson, age 94, a resident of Carolina House in Pinehurst, and a former resident of Cypress Drive in Henderson, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 in Pinehurst.
Born on October 12, 1918 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late William J. Dunn and Geneva Weldon Dunn, and was the widow of Woodrow W. Robertson.Mrs. Robertson was a member of the First Baptist Church in Henderson where she was a former Sunday School Teacher, having taught for twenty-five years in the Adult, Intermediate, and Dorothy Currin Sunday School Classes, and was a former member of the Sue Kelly Missionary Circle.She was also a former member of the James B. White Chapter of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters Of The Confederacy, and Daughters of 1812.She was a member of the former Henderson Womans Club, Board Of Directors of the Vance County Cancer Society of which she served as President, and the Granville County Genealogy Society.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 1:30 PM at Elmwood Cemetery by Dr. Marion D. Larkand the Rev. David Helms.
She is survived by one daughter, Carol Eaves Robertson and husband, Tony of Aberdeen; two grandsons, Anthony Craig Robertson, Jr. and Andrew Wilson Robertson; and six great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 until 1:00 PM at J. M. White Funeral Home
