HENDERSON-Suzan Catherine Vick Dickerson, 72, a resident of 644 Gooch Road, died Saturday, February 11, 2017 at her home.Born in Vance County on November 23, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Percy Roy Vick and Martha Bissett Vick.Susan was a retired service representative for the Social Security Administation, and was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at Sunset Gardens by the Rev. Joe Precht.
She is survived by her husband, Ellis E. Dickerson of the home; two daughters, Cathy Gay (Richard) and Lisa Furlow (Frank) of Kittrell; two sisters, Nona Vick Mason of Charleston, SC and Ann Vick Roberson of Henderson; four grandchildren, Keith Gay, Clarissa Gay, Justin Furlow, and Kyle Furlow.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a half-sister, Jackie Vick Rose.
The family will receive friends Monday night from 7 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home.
