Tal Henry Moss

NORLINA– Tal Henry Moss, 71, of Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, died Friday, July 18, 2025, at his home. He was born in Granville County on November 4, 1953. He was the son of the late Margaret Lane Moss Guill and Robert Talton Moss. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 3, 2025 at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Calvin Mills. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Sunday at J.M. White Funeral Home. Henry was a retired Carpenter. He worked as a carpenter most of his life. He built campers, houses, decks, and worked on interior and exterior remodeling. One of his hobbies he enjoyed was fishing. Henry is survived by two sons, Joshua Moss (Heather) of Henderson, Tal Moss of California, and one daughter Ashlei Moss (Deb) of Raleigh; two grandchildren, Courtney Moss, of Henderson, Maddison Moss of Henderson; one great grandson, Jaxon “Jax” Ellington of Henderson; one sister, Brenda McGee of Henderson; two brothers, Mike Moss (Peggy) of Henderson, and Joel Moss (Diane) of Henderson, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, James “Jamie” Moss; and two brothers, Robert Moss and Nathan Moss. Flowers are accepted.
