RALEIGH-Tamara Ann Loan Overcash, age 36, a resident of 9001 Wildwood Links, went to be with her Savior on Monday, August 08, 2011, at Duke University Medical Center.Born on September 28, 1974 in Roanoke, Virginia, she was the daughter of Claude Mitchell Loan, Jr. and Joyce Moss Loan of Durham.Mrs. Overcash was a proud graduate of Virginia Tech and was employed as Director of Prospect Research Management and Analytics for Duke University.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM at Hayes Barton Baptist Church by the Rev. David Haley with special words from Rev. Billy Price.Burial will follow in Raleigh Memorial Park.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Nicholas Lee Overcash of the home; one daughter, Carter Lane Overcash of the home; two sisters, Melanie L. Fuhrman and husband, Rick of Daleville, VA and Allison L. Price and husband, Josh of Morrisville and her paternal grandmother, Christine Loan of Covington, VA..
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:30 until 2:00 at Hayes Barton Baptist Church Parlor.At other times they will be at the home at 9001 Wildwood Links.
Serving as pall bearers will be Tommy Overcash, Jeremy Overcash, Tommy Sellars, Rick Fuhrman, Josh Price, David Tinder, and David Nichols.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Team T for Leukemia Awareness, c/o Allison Price 6205 Kit Creek Rd., Morrisville, NC 27560.
