Ted Thomas Ayscue, age 72, a resident of 696 Dr. Finch Road, died Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at his home.Born on February 24, 1944 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Bennie Ayscue and Elizabeth Currin Ayscue.Ted was a retired Supervisor at Revlon.He was a member of South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church and the All For Him Sunday School Class.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Clopton Ayscue of the home; one daughter, Kimberly A. Thomas (Joe) of Richlands ; two sons, Dwayne Ayscue (Elizabeth) of Chantilly, Va. and Steven Ayscue (Nancy) of Monroe; three sisters, Carolyn Ayscue (Steve), Shelby A. Allen (James), and Marthie A. Hardee all of Henderson; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Florence Pendergrass; and one great grandson, Joseph Ethan Thomas.
The family will receive friends Friday night from 7 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Billy Davidson, Doug Herrin, Philip Roberson, Kenneth Bowden, David Barnett, Greg Jones, and Ronnie Currin.
