Ted Randy Murphy, Sr., age 68, a resident of 1008 Spring Valley Lake Rd. died Thursday, August 09, 2012, at his home.Born on December 20, 1943 in Franklin County, he was the son of the late James Linwood Murphy and Clara Gupton Murphy. He was a member of Island Creek Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held Friday, August 10, 2012, at 2:00 PM in the Island Creek Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Marshall Neathery.At other times he will be at the home of Randall andPaula Murphy at 1008 Spring Valley Lake Road.
He is survived by one son, RandallMurphy of Henderson; one daughter, Tanya Lynn Murphy of Franklinton; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister Carnette Murphy.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be made to the Ted Murphy Funeral Fund, c/o J. M. White Funeral Home, 60 Zeb Robinson Road, Henderson, NC27536.
