Teresa Bissette Currin

HENDERSON- Teresa Lynn Bissette Currin, 57, of Vanco Mill Road, died Monday, September 14, 2026 at Duke Raleigh Hospital. Born July 12, 1969 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Ruth Langley Bissette and Frank Leo Bissette.

She was a member of Freedom Life Church of God where funeral services will be held Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. by Rev. Jeff Prewer. Burial will follow at Sunset Gardens Cemetery.

Teresa is survived by her husband, William Currin of the home; her daughter, Stacie Currin and significant other, Joseph Henderson; two sons, William Currin, Jr. and wife, Casie and Joshua Currin and wife, Logan; six grandchildren, Mackenzie Currin, Eian Currin, Aaliyah Currin, Leiland Henderson, Nolan Henderson and Easton Henderson; and four sisters, Elizabeth Boyd, Annie Williamson, Lisa Stevenson and Queenie Champion.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Brake.

Serving as active pallbearers will be William Currin, Jr., Joshua Currin, Eian Currin, Joseph Henderson, Timmy Purvis and James Alexander, II.

The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 P.M. at Freedom Life Church of God; and at other times at the home of Stacie Currin, 310 Vanco Mill Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
