HENDERSON-Teresa Jean "Terry" Dorsey Elliott age 69 resident of 595 Old Watkins Road, died Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at her home. Born in Vance County on December 14, 1946, she was the daughter of the late William Lloyd Dorsey, Jr. and Virginia Hoyle Dorsey.Terry was a retired X-Ray Technician at Henderson Family Medicine and was a member of Harris Chapel United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 pm at Harris Chapel United Methodist Church by the Rev. Glenn Stallsmith. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, James Clifton "Jimmy" Elliott of the home; two daughters, Cheryl Elliott of Henderson and Kerri E. Pell and husband, Josh of Bordentown, NJ; one granddaughter, Montana Pell; one grandson, Luke Pell; one sister, Kathy D. Overton and husband, Donnie of Oxford; one brother, Donnie Dorsey and wife, Joan of Henderson; her sister-in-law, Jean Tippett and husband, Roy of Henderson; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday night from 7 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Jeff Hobgood, Gray Hobgood, Colbey Hobgood, Brian Moseley, Brad Williams, and Will Dorsey.
