HENDERSON-Terry Wayne Freitag, Sr., 70, a resident of 175 Bogey Lane, died Friday, September 21, 2018 at his home.Born on February 6, 1948 in Forsyth County, he was the son of the late Edward Lewis Freitag and Dorothy Alexander Sprinkle.
Terry attended the Atlanta School of Broadcasting and was a former General Manager at WHNC and announcer at WHNC and WIZS Radio Stations.He was formerly employed at Ahner Security and was a member of Flat Rock United Methodist Church.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at 3 pm at Harriett Baptist Church, 1354 Ruin Creek Road, Henderson, by Pastor Will Breedlove.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Shelton Mitchell Freitag of the home; three daughters, Kimberly F. Lawson (Michael) of King, Candi Freitag of Franklinton, and Michelle M. Jones (Bubba) of Henderson; two sons, Terry Wayne Freitag, Jr, and Chris Moore (Candy) of Henderson; one brother, Keith Freitag (Sue) of Clemmons; eight grandchildren; and one great grandson.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 1:30 until 2:50 pm in the Fellowship Hall of Harriett Baptist Church. At other times they will be at the home.
