Terry Joseph Taylor, 59, died Sunday, October 13, 2019 at his home.Born in Vance County on November 27, 1959, he was the son of the late Joseph Merlin Taylor and Beverly Bean Taylor.He was a long distance truck driver for Sundance Freight in Wake Forest.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 17 at 7:00pm in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Harvey Harris and Dickie Taylor.
Terry is survived by his wife, Tonya Roberson Taylor of the home; one son, Bobby Taylor of Stovall; one daughter, Jenna Taylor of Norfolk, VA; three brothers, Dickie Taylor (Helen) of Henderson; Jerry Taylor of Henderson and Freddie Taylor (Linda) of Epsom; one sister, Hedi T. Kitner (Rich) of Icksburg PA;three grandsons, Tristan Taylor, Jacob Taylor and Lucas McCarthy; and his mother-in-law, Peggy Roberson of Henderson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene Taylor and Tim Taylor.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday evening from 6:00 till 7:00 at J.M. White Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
