HENDERSON-Thomas Dixon Hardie, Jr., age 75, a resident of 655 Zeb Robinson Road, died Thursday, January 04, 2018, in a local nursing home.
Born on July 4, 1942 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Thomas D. Hardie, Sr. and Virgia Riggan Hardie.
Tom was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and was retired from Variety Wholesale.
To honor his wishes, a private burial will be held.
He is survived by his nephew, Irvin Robinson, Jr. and wife, Kelly and one neice, Catherine Ellington; two great nephews; and two great nieces all of Henderson.He was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Jean Robinson.
The family will receive friends at the home of Catherine Ellington at 654 Zeb Robinson Road, Henderson
