OXFORD-Thomas Hunt, Jr., age 69, a resident of 3213 Sam Ursy Road, died Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Granville Medical Center.Born on February 15, 1942 in Franklin County, he was the son of Ira Price Hunt of Henderson and the late Claude Thomas Hunt.Mr. Hunt was a retired self-employed carpenter.
A service will be held at a later date.
He is survived by Deborah Williams of the home; his wife, Tammy Moss Hunt of Henderson; one daughter, Renee Francis of Henderson; two step sons, T.C. Johnson of Henderson and Dean Johnson of PA; two sisters, Pauline Barham of Henderson and Christine Williams of Raleigh; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, George Hunt and Clyde Hunt; and two step-daughters, Cathy Neal and Annette Johnson.
