Thomas "T. A." Allen White, Jr.

MIDDLEBURG-Thomas Allen “T. A.” White, Jr., 88, a resident of Jacksontown Road, died Friday, July 5, 2024 at his home. Born in Warren County on February 5, 1936, he was the son of the late Thomas Allen White, Sr. and Annie Mae Medley White, and was the widower of Geraldine Soper White. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force where he was a Radio Operator and was a member of Crystal River Church of God. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday July 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Wise Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Charles Ray Anderson. He is survived by one son, Michael Allen White of the home; his step-mother, Gayle Medlin of Wise, one step-son, Earl Edward “Eddie” Yake, II (Janice) of Springfield, VA; one step-daughter, Kathleen L.Y. Campbell (Brian) of Golden, CO; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and one niece, Shannon Roberson (Daniel) of Macon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; one daughter, Sylvia Ann White; and one step daughter, Deborah Marie Tilley. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Crystal River Church of God, 305 John Deere Rd., Henderson, NC 27537.
