Timothy Dwayne Edwards, age 49, a resident of 62 S. Hacienda Lane, Henderson died Thursday, September 5, 2013 at his home.Born in Vance County on March 3, 1964, he was the son of the late Jasper Thomas Edwards, Sr. and Ruby Culbert Edwards.He worked in construction as a brick mason.
A memorial service will be held Monday evening at 7:00PM in the J.M. White Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Jeff Prewer. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 PM till 7:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home.
He is survived by a daughter, Lacey Jo Edwards of the home; a son Jasper Dwayne Edwards of Oxford; a granddaughter, Lexi Edwards of Oxford; and three brothers, Jasper Thomas Edwards, Jr. of Winston Salem, Guy Edwards of Lexington, and Tony Edwards of Florida.The family wishes to express special thanks to Jenny Harris of Henderson who was a mother figure to Mr. Edwards.
At other times the family will receive friends at the home of Jackie Neal and Jasper Edwards, 8285 Hicksboro Road, Oxford.
