HENDERSON-Tony Wayne Wiggins, 65, a resident of Henderson, died Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at his home.Born on May 24, 1955 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Ernest "Bro" Wiggins and Gladys Lassiter Wiggins. He was medically retired from Crowder Logging Company.
Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, February 8, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Sunset Gardens by the Rev. Jeff Prewer.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Edwards Wiggins of the home; two daughters, VanessaBelvin (Bryan) of Clayton and Tracy Tate (John of Raleigh; five grandchildren, Bryanne, Bryce, Ayden, Jude, and Lane; three sisters, Pam Wiggins and Shelia Walker of Henderson and Cathy Tuck of Graham; and two brothers, Billy Wiggins of Townsville and Steve Wiggins of Henderson.
The family will receive friends on Monday immediately following the service at Sunset Gardens.
Those attending the service are asked to follow CDC guidelines by wearing appropriate face coverings and maintaining social distancing.
