RALEIGH- Tracy Renee Oakes Deese, 49, of Raleigh, died Monday, September 24, 2018 at WakeMed.Born in Granville County on January 1, 1969, she was the daughter of Mildred Brooks Oakes of Oxford and the late Raymond Irvin Oakes.
She was a member of Tabbs Creek Baptist Church where a memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM by Rev. Stan Jenkins.
In addition to her mother, Tracy is survived by three daughters, Madison Tart of Hillsboro, MaKayla Tart of Timberlake and Ashley Tart of Mebane; her loving friend, Nick Kellock of the home; her brother, Glenn Oakes and wife, Amy, of Henderson; her sister, Kimberly Newton and husband, Stephen, of Bullock; two grandchildren that called her "Gigi"; several nieces and nephews; and one great nephew.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Morgan Frances Tart.
The family will receive friends Saturday following the service at Tabbs Creek Baptist Church.
