HENDERSON-Vallie Harp Edwards, 82, a resident of Henderson, died Friday, May 14, 2021, at Louisburg Manor.Born on December 8, 1938 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Grady Harp and Lois Kittrell Harp, and was the widow of Perry Edwards.
Mrs. Edwards was retired from Royal Home Fashions and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, May 17, 2021, at 11:00 AM in the Fuller Chapel Christian Church Cemetery by Dr. Gene Wood.
She is survived by three sisters, Bertha Harp, Katie Harp, and Bettie H. Sellars all of Henderson.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Erma H. Faulkner and Flossie H. Little.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Fuller Chapel Christian Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church Missionary Fund, PO Box 647, Henderson, NC27536.
