Born on July 11, 1965 in Vance County, he was the son of Delora Ann Lassiter Grissom of Kittrell and the late Vernon Wyche Grissom, Jr.He was a Distribution Supervisor for Dollar General in South Boston, VA where he was loved by all his employees.Lynn loved baseball and when he was younger tried out for the Durham Bulls.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 pm at Fuller Chapel United Church Of Christ by the Rev. Tammy Ayscue.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Eileen Price Grissom of the home; two sons, Joshua Lynn Grissom and Dylan Wyche Grissom of the home; one brother, Stephen Jay Grissom of Raleigh; his father-in-law, Floyd Daylon Price, Jr. and mother-in-law, Pauline F. Price of Zebulon; two brothers-in-law, Floyd D. Price, III and wife, Teresa of Wendell and Jared Price of Thailand; and his faithful dog Max.
The family will receive friends Sunday night from 7 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home at 463 Dabney Woods Lane, off Poplar Creek Road.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Herbie Grissom, Al Grissom, Tony Grissom, Rod Moss, Steve Wiggins, and Billy Wiggins.
