HENDERSON- Vickie Ann Starnes McFarland, 66, of Southern Ave, died July 3, 2021 at Maria Parham Health.Born in Vance County on December 3, 1954, she was the daughter of the late William Junious Starnes and Grace Leigh West Starnes.She was a private duty nurse and member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Dr. Gene Wood. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
Vickie is survived by her husband, William Ernest McFarland, of the home; her daughter, Candace Dickerson (Stephen) of Henderson; her son, Gregory Miller (Ashley) of Oxford; three grandchildren, Kaleigh Dickerson, Blake Dickerson and Lucas Cole Miller; two sisters, Shelia Grissom of Henderson and Regina Overby of Garner; and her brother, Steve Walker of Columbia, SC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jefferey Crawford.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at J.M. White Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Rufus Overby, 176 S. Chaucer Way, Kittrell, NC 27544.
