Violet Pearl Rogers Stanton

HENDERSON-Violet Pearl Rogers Stanton, 94, a resident of Kelly Road, died Friday, September 17, 2021 at her home. She was a native of Wake Co. and was the daughter of the late Sylvester Rogers and Annie Fish Rogers and was the widow of Milton Conway "Jack" Stanton. Pearl was retired from Camper Products. A graveside funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at Sunset Gardens by the Rev. Linwood Jarrell. The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Monday at Sunset Gardens. She is survived by three sons, Barry Stanton and Steven Stanton (Cheryl) of Henderson and Michael Matthews of Youngsville; three sisters; Frances McLean of Angier, Catherine Davis of Palm Bay FL, and Lector Dewar of Fuquay Varina; six grandchildren, Steven Stanton, Jr. Staci Williams, Michael Matthews, Jeremiah Matthews, Christopher Matthews, and Jason Matthews; and two great grandchildren, Wyatt Williams and Jordan Matthews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Howard, Vera Barbour and Ruth Poole; and three brothers, Aaron Rogers Lewis Rogers and Coy Rogers.
