Virgie Journigan Cameron

Virgie Journigan Cameron, 80, a resident of Lightwood Lane, died Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the home of her daughter. Born on April 19, 1942 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Ollie Perry Journigan and Blanche Wood Journigan. She was retired from Burlington Mills and Harriett & Henderson Yarns, Inc. She was a member of the Salvation Army where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 PM by Captain Joshua Keaton. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens. She is survived by her husband, Roy Alex Cameron, Jr. of the home; one daughter, Veronica C. Wilson (Marshall) of Stovall; and one granddaughter, Krista W. Basnight (Torgny) of Stovall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Leonard and Perry Journigan, Jr. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday from 12:00 until 1:00 PM at the Salvation Army.
