Vivian Leonard Champion

HENDERSON-Vivian Leonard Champion, a resident of 621 S. Cooper Drive, died Thursday, December 15, 2016, at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born in Nash County on June 9, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Russell Leonard and Rebecca Battle Leonard, and was the widow of Ed Champion.
Vivian was a homemaker.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 3 pm in the Leonard Family Cemetery in Franklin County by the Rev. Jake Roberson.
She is survived by one sister, Carolyn L. Callis (Frank) of Oxford; one nephew, Frank Callis, III (Katherine); one niece, Rebecca Tillotson (Edwin); two great nephews, Christopher Brodgen and Jackson Callis; and one great niece, Madden Callis.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Sant Leonard.
