He was a retired surveyor with the Timmons Group in Richmond, Virginia, a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Kittrell, and was actively involved with Habitat for Humanity in Warren County.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 am at Oak Ridge Baptist Church by the Rev. Fred McGehee.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Smith Pulley of the home; one daughter, Wendy Pulley Wells and husband, Chip of Mosley, Virginia; one son, Travis Pulley of Richmond, Virginia; four grandchildren, Jacob Wells, Samuel Wells, Abigail Wells, and Hannah Wells; one brother, Donald M. Pulley of Henderson; and one sister, Mary P. Grissom of Henderson.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Warren Pulley.
The family will receive friends at the home in Macon.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Jeff Zimmer, Bruce Rogers, Michael Hoban, Vince Knick, Earl Young, and Keith Adcock.Serving as honorary pall bearers will be Don Cook, Earl Parker, Howard Wynn, Gene Fisher and Charles Faulkner.
