HENDERSON- Walter Joseph Renn, Jr., 59, of Beverly Hills Lane, died Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Maria Parham Health. Born February 23, 1966 in Vance County, he was the son of Henrietta Hayes Renn of Henderson and the late Walter Joseph Renn, Sr. He was a tobacco farmer, and a former member of the Epsom Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of Liberty Christian Church where funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 A.M. by Rev. Tammy Ayscue and Rev. Burwell Stark. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In addition to his mother, Walter is survived by his wife, Jennifer Marshall Renn of the home; two sisters, Cynthia R. Stevenson (Bill) and Mattie R. May (Phil), all of Henderson; and four nieces, Pamela Stevenson, Ashley May, Heather May and Kendra Faulkner. The family will receive friends Friday following the service in the fellowship hall of Liberty Christian Church; and at other times at the home of his mother, 8020 NC Hwy 39 S., Henderson, NC 27537. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Ayscue, Jeffrey Edwards, Mike Hayes, Terry Perkinson, Jonathan Renn, and Tom Wilson. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Paul Currin, Dean Livengood, Wayne Renn, David Huff and David Renn.
