Mr. Warren Daniel Carter, age 73, a resident of 1032 Julian Smith Rd., died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at his home.Born in Nash County on September 7, 1939 he was the son of the late Owen Washington and Annie Pearl Griffin Washington.He retired after sixteen years of service from Hon Industries.
A graveside funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00PM at Sunset Gardens conducted by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.
Mr. Carter is survived by four daughters, Brenda Moseley, Audrey Lugo, and Lois Ellis all of Henderson and Theresa Wiesner of Kittrell; two sons, Donald Page of the home and Terry Page of Henderson; sixteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lola Rabon Carter, a daughter, Diane Colley and a son, John Page.
The family will receive friends on Friday prior to the service at Sunset Cemetery from 1:00 PM till 2:00 PM.At other times they will be at the home of Theresa Wiesner, 111 South Chavis Rd., Kittrell, NC.
