Grover Wayne Griffin Sr., age 73, a resident of 1413 Quail Ridge Run Apt. I, died Saturday, March 10, 2018, at his home.Born on April 24, 1944 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Grover Lee Griffin and Helen Vick Griffin.He was retired from the former Parkway Mobile Home Co.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jean Church Griffin of the home; two daughters, Sherry Respess (Darwin) of Wendell and Tammy Pernell (Ricky) of Henderson; two sons, Chris Griffin (Jennifer) of Henderson and Wayne Griffin (Heather) of Cary; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Diane Medlin and Carolyn Ivey.
He was loved very much by his family and will be missed by all.
