Wayne Gerald Spencer

HENDERSON- Wayne Gerald Spencer, 85, of Crestwood Road, died Friday, June 21, 2024 at Duke University Hospital. Born May 17, 1939 in Erie County, New York, he was the son of the late Rita Williamson Spencer and Arthur W. Spencer. He was formerly the owner of Waymar Computer Company and co-owner of Hi-Tech Robotics, both in Buffalo, NY. Wayne was a member of St. James Catholic Church and a former member of St. George Catholic Church in West Falls, NY where he served as choir director and enjoyed membership in the choir. A memorial service will be held Saturday August, 10th 2024 at 12:00 noon at St James Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary Pfeiffer Spencer; two sons, Lawrence Spencer (Cheryl) of Pittsford, NY and Richard Spencer (Heather) of Camden, ME; five grandchildren, Krystel Noble, Kyle Noble, Caroline Spencer, Jack Spencer, Nicholas Spencer; three great-grandchildren, Karmela, Kayden and Karter; and his brother, Gary Spencer of Traverse City, MI. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Suzette S. Noble.
