HENDERSON- Wayne Thomas Stevenson, 65, of Carey Chapel Road, died Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Maria Parham Health.Born in Vance County on July 1, 1954, he was the son of the late Shirley Rae Joyner Stevenson and Andrew Thomas "Red" Stevenson.He was employed with A & M Services in Kittrell.
A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at New Sandy Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Tim Burgess.
He is survived by a daughter, Andrea S. Harless (Todd) of Florida; two sons, Russell "Rusty" Stevenson (Ruthanne) and Cameron Stevenson (Katherine) all of Henderson; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild and a special friend, Mary Snickles.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Sandy Creek Baptist Church, 1699 Weldon's Mill Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
