Wesley Briggs Wagner, Sr.

Wesley Briggs Wagner, Sr., age 67, a resident of 825 Nelson Street, died Friday, December 25, 2015, at his home.Born in Mebane on March 12, 1948, he was the son of the late Lorenzo W. Wagner and Evelyn Williams Wagner.Wesley was a Veteran of the United States Army during Vietnam and was a retired Maintenance Engineer from UNC.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 am at J. M. White Funeral Home by the Rev. Dr. Fred Lowery.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
He is survived by his wife, Ginealla Hart Wagner of the home; two sons, Wesley Briggs Wagner, Jr. of Dallas, TX and Woodrow Grady Wagner of Thomasville; one step-son, Joshua Prewer of Oxford; four sisters, Joyce Lowery and husband, Fred of Roxboro, Marcy Holmes and husband, Russell of Cobleskill, NY, Brenda Wiggins and husband, David of Sneeds Ferry, NC, and Pamela Wright of Durham; three brothers, Kerry Bruce Wagner and wife, Brenda of Caldwell, Randell Dail Wagner and wife, Barbara of Jacksonville, FL, and Timothy Wayne Wagner of Roxboro; two grandchildren, Larry Anthony Wagner and Lauren Nicole Wagner; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia Wagner Jones.
The family will receive friends Wednesday prior to the service from 10 until 11 am at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home at 825 Nelson Street.
Serving as pall bearers will be friends and family.
