William Arnold "Will" Matthews, Jr., 28, of Crestwood Road, died Friday, August 16, 2019 at his home.Born in Wake County on January, 10, 1991 he was the son of William Arnold Matthews, Sr. and Mariella Brack Matthews of the home.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Pastor Christian Rutherford.
In addition to his parents, Will is survived by his maternal grandmother, Concetta Brack of Henderson; his sister, Gabriella Matthews of Wilmington; a cousin whom he loved like a sister, Maria Rutherford and her husband, Christian Rutherford and their daughter, Poet Rutherford; several aunts, uncles and cousins, Donna and Amgad Saad and their children, Sunnie Saad and Simon Saad, Geno and Michelle Brack, Michael and Alisha Brack and his son, Zachary Brack, and Rosanna and Dean Albert and their daugther, Faith Albert.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William J. "Papa" Matthews and Joyce L. "Mama" Matthews; and his maternal grandfather, William E. "Billy" Brack, Jr.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 till 3:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home; at other times they will be at the home.
