HENDERSON- Willard Irvin Haithcock, Jr., 76, of Woodland Road, died Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at his home.
Born in Kinston on August 31, 1944, he was the son of the late Willard Irvin Haithcock and Ida Hill Aldridge Haithcock.He was a retired business owner, a former long time board member of the Henderson Family YMCA and member of the Henderson Country Club.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church Henderson.
Willard is survived by his wife, Nancy C. Haithcock of the home; his son, Willard I. "Heath" Haithcock, III (Elizabeth Cloninger) of Manteo; his daughter, Julia C. Haithcock of Henderson; and a granddaughter, Leah Paige Haithcock.
The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall of First United Methodist.All attendees at the service and visitation are respectfully asked to follow the church's COVID policy which includes everyone being subject to tracing protocol and all unvaccinated persons wearing facial coverings.
