HENDERSON- William Allen "Bill" Cooper, Sr. 84, of Senior Citizens Nursing Home, died Thursday, September 17, 2020 at his son's home.Born August 23, 1936, he was the son of the late John Albert Cooper and Lucy Carter Cooper and the widower of Pearl Louise Jenkins Cooper.He was a former employee of Henderson Country Club and attended Tungsten Baptist Church.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 3:00PM at Sunset Gardens by Rev. Sam Brewer and Rev. Joe Don Cooper.
Bill is survived by two sons, William A. Cooper, Jr. (Lisa) and Kenny Cooper (Kathy), all of Henderson; three grandchildren, William A. Cooper, III, Sarah Nicole Cooper, and Casey Cooper Ramsey (Marvin); a great granddaughter, Carley Grace Ramsey; and a brother, Sam Cooper of Henderson.
Serving as pallbearers will be Will Cooper, Rev. Joe Don Cooper, Brad Cooper, Lee Hughes, Johnny Cooper and James Hamrick.
The family will receive friends prior to the service at Sunset Gardens from 2:45 until 3:00 PM.
