William Barksdale Dale Granger, III age 47, died Saturday February 25, 2012 at his home.Born on January 11, 1965 in Granville County he was the son of William "Billy" Barksdale Granger, Jr. of Henderson and Priscilla Tippett Granger of Oxford.Mr. Granger was a former employee of Clayton Homes Manufacturer and attended Cokesbury United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at Cokesbury United Methodist at 11:00 AM by Rev. Dennis Peay.Burial will follow in the Cokesbury United Methodist Church cemetery.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Granger is survived by his wife, Jeanne Journigan Granger of the home; two sons, Robert Dale Granger and Christopher Wayne Granger both of Norlina; a daughter, Katie Lynn Granger of the home; one grandson; a sister, Kelly Granger Dickerson of Louisburg; his paternal grandfather, William Granger Sr.; and his step-mother, Kathy Granger.
The family will receive friends after the service on Tuesday, at other times they will be at the home, 365 Willieville Lane, Henderson.
