William Curtis Hardee

HENDERSON-William Curtis Hardee, age 54, a resident of 809 Nelson Street, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, NC.Born in Horry County, SC on July 29, 1957, he was the son of the late Wilbur Aaron Hardee and Barbara Baker Hardee.
He was a former employee of the former Harriett & Henderson Yarns, Inc. where he worked for more than 20 years.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 28, 2012, at 2:00 pm at the Salvation Army by Captains Rick and Angie Langley, and the Rev. Tim Short.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Ayscue Hardee of the home; one son, Jake Edward Hardee of Henderson; one daughter, Elizabeth Anne Hardee Votaw of Henderson; two brothers, Wilbur Steve Hardee and Larry Edward Hardee of Henderson; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday immediately following the service at the Salvation Army.At other times they will be at the home at 809 Nelson Street.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to the William Curtis Hardee Funeral Fund, c/o J. M. White Funeral Home, 60 Zeb Robinson Road, Henderson, NC 27536.
