William Alford Hedgepeth

HENDERSON-William Alford Hedgepeth, age 78, a resident of 601 S. Cooper Drive, and a former resident of the Kittrell Community, died Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born on September 29, 1933 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Ivory Hedgepeth and Pattie Alford Hedgepeth.He was retired from the Pepsi Cola Company and was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm at Union Chapel United Methodist Church by the Rev. Dennis Gossett.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Jewel Ellington Hedgepeth of the home; one son, William Thomas Hedgepeth of Henderson; five grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday night from 7:00 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will meet in the Rose Room at Courtyard Apartments, II.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Timothy Hedgepeth, Jeffrey Hedgepeth, Todd Hedgepeth, DJ Colbath, Michael Clayton, and William Douglas..
