HENDERSON-William Lewis Bill Hunt, Jr., age 58, a resident of 704 E. Montgomery Street, died Monday, November 16, 2015, at his home.Born on June 10, 1957 in Henderson, he was the son of Norma Bush Medlin of Henderson and the late William Lewis Hunt.He was a Veteran of the United States Army where he served for 17 years. While in service he was a heavy truck mechanic and continued working as a mechanic after his discharge from the Army.Bill was of Baptist Faith, a Republican, and active volunteer.
To honor his wishes, no services are planned.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, William Lewis Hunt, III of Kitty Hawk; one sister, Doloris Hunt-Kornya of Ashville/ Black Mountain; and one granddaughter, Elizabeth.
