William Joseph Long

HENDERSON- With heavy hearts, the family of William Joseph “Bill” Long, 71, share his peaceful passing. Born June 14, 1954 in Allegheny County, PA, he was the son of the late Martha Jane Tennant Long and William Elsworth Long. Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

To honor his wishes, there will be no formal service.

Bill is survived by his wife, Janet Y. Long of the home; his son, Andrew Long of Durham; two sisters, Barbara Fennimore and husband, Jack of Blackwood, NJ and Susan Gibbons of Lower Burrell, PA; a brother, Jon Long and wife, Sandra of Paw Paw, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Megan Long; two brothers, Kent Long and Kevin Long; and four sisters, Beverly Yama, Judy Long, Joy Corrie and Lynda Long.
