RALEIGH- Mr. William Cody Mooneyhan, Sr., 67, of 1300 Deerhurst Drive, died Monday, August 6, 2018 at Wake Medical Center.Born in Washington, DC on June 22, 1951, he was the son of the late John Lloyd Mooneyhan and Alice Howell Mooneyhan.He was a manager with a plumbing company and attended Providence Baptist Church in Raleigh.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:00 PM at Island Creek Baptist Church by Pastor Bryan Nelson.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Mooneyhan is survived by his wife, Margaret Stem Mooneyhan of the home; his daughter, Jennifer M. Wise and husband Bennett of Raleigh; two sons, William Cody Mooneyhan, Jr.and wife Renee of Clarksburg, MD and David Stem Mooneyhan and wife Katelyn of Owings Mills, MD; four sisters, Patricia Glanz, Sharon Makrell, Deborah Mooneyhan and Tammie Sutton; three brothers, John Mooneyhan, Harold Mooneyhan and Carroll Mooneyhan; and ten grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Mooneyhan, Bennett Wise, Zachary Mooneyhan, David Mooneyhan, Justin Holtzman and Kyle Holtzman.
