William Randolph Reese, Sr.

William Randolph Reese, Sr., 83, of US 158 Bypass, died Monday, October 9, 2023 in Wake County. Born October 12, 1939 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Letha Medlin Reese and William Thomas Reese and was the widower of Evelyn Medlin Reese. Randolph was a member of West End Baptist Church. He retired from Fidelity Bank where he was the city executive and also retired from Home Credit Corporation. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Cade Patterson. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens. Randolph is survived by a son, William Randolph “Randy” Reese, Jr. and wife, Pam of Franklinton; three grandchildren, Corbin Cashwell and wife, Heather, Lindsay Reese Huff and husband, Hunter, and William Randolph “Trey” Reese, III; three great-grandchildren, Alyssa Cashwell, Wyatt Huff and Houston Huff; and two sisters, Barbara Newby of Augusta, GA and Linda Woody and husband, Clarence of Concord. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two sons, Steven Allen Reese and Thomas Wayne “Tommee” Reese. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at J.M. White Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Trey Reese, Corbin Cashwell, Brian Reese, Dale Reese, Jeff Wilder, Fred Owens, Brian Yount, Jimmy Twisdale and Davy Crockett. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West End Baptist Church, PO Box 2514 Henderson NC, 27536 or a charity of one’s choice.
