William Ray Thomas

William Ray Thomas, 76, a resident of S. Chavis Road, died Saturday, October 14, 2023 at his home. Born on December 3, 1946 in Vance County, he was the son of the late William Henry Thomas and Virginia Pearl Crocker Thomas. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and was a retired Supervisor with Purolator. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. He is survived by one daughter, Samantha “Sam” Matthews of Henderson; two sons, Johnny Thomas (Audrey) of Louisburg, and Donny Thomas (Cynthia Euribe) of Kittrell; four grandchildren, Hunter Thomas, Amber Thomas, Alex Thomas, and Jackson Thomas; one great granddaughter, Makenzie Drake; one sister, Peggy Stegall of Epsom; and one brother, Jimmy Thomas of Wilton.
