William "Tillie' Gray Tillotson

William Gray “Tillie” Tillotson, 88, of Shearin Lane, died Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Maria Parham Health. Born February 7, 1934 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Edward Lassiter Tillotson and Mildred Woodlief Tillotson. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, and was a former employee of Merita Bread Co. and retired from Rose Oil Company. He was a member of West End Baptist Church and attended New Life Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 11:00 AM at New Life Baptist Church by Rev. Robert Kelley and Rev. John Miles. He is survived by his wife, Jane Wilder Tillotson of the home; a daughter, Kimberly T. Weaver and husband, Doug of Advance; a son, William Keith Tillotson of Henderson; two grandchildren Harrison Weaver and wife, Taylor and Jonathon Weaver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah “Debbie” Tillotson Caudill; a son, Richard Gray “Louie” Tillotson.
