William Thomas Von Kessel

HENDERSON- William Thomas von Kessel, 73, of Cypress Drive, died Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at his home. Born September 26, 1950 in Kings County, NY, he was the son of the late Elizabeth Ann Knight Reilly and William Leland von Kessel. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, was a member of the American Legion and V.F.W. and retired from Ardagh Group where he worked as a supervisor. A memorial service with military honors will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Chaplain Melissa Fretwell. Mr. Von Kessel is survived by his life partner, Elaine Meeker of Little Egg Harbor, NJ; his daughter, Katie Lee (Robert Faulkner) of Henderson; his son, William Donald von Kessel (Rimmel) of Mooresville; his brother, Thomas von Kessel (Kim) Cinnaminson, NJ; three sisters, Janie “Neen” von Kessel of Cherry Hill, NJ, Susan Tamagni (Mike) of Woodbury, NJ and Susan von Kessel of New York; and two grandchildren, Brooke Lee and R. J. Lee. The family will receive friends prior the service on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at J.M. White Funeral Home and immediately following the service at the home on Cypress Drive.
